Greentalent, a recruitment firm specializing in the search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering, and Environment sectors, is representing a company that designs, develops, and constructs photovoltaic plants for clients in the industrial and service sectors. We are seeking a:

Solar Development Manager – Acquisition and Permitting

The successful candidate will support real estate development activities to secure land rights for projects. They will also plan and coordinate technical and design activities from inception to project completion, including all administrative and permitting processes. The role requires achieving optimal results aligned with quality, sustainability standards, objectives, performance metrics, costs, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managing feasibility studies (TDD, opportunity, constraints) and proposal screening, ensuring compliance with budgets and authorization timelines.
  2. Overseeing the authorization process to obtain necessary permits, including planning agreements, environmental, and landscape approvals.
  3. Monitoring project development and permitting status, managing related documentation, including due diligence purposes.
  4. Providing back-office support such as document filing, checklist management, presentation preparation, and assisting in deed preparations (LOI, PSPA, SPA).
  5. Collaborating with internal teams (legal, accounting, tax, technical) and external advisors to support project execution, approval processes, transaction closing, and integration efforts.

Key Requirements:

  1. 3 to 7 years of experience in the real estate sector, renewable energy development, technical fields (planning/design), or acquisition and permitting departments.
  2. Strong expertise in permitting stages and coordination of collateral consultants (cadastral, technical, legal issues).
  3. Experience supporting development activities such as feasibility studies and due diligence (technical, legal, environmental).
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills, goal-oriented, capable of working independently and in teams, proactive, versatile, professional, and discreet. Willingness to attend site visits and meetings with public entities and third parties.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, report drafting, analytical thinking, and project management abilities.
  6. Degree in engineering, architecture, urban and land planning, or similar fields.

Location: Milan, with a hybrid working model.
