Webuild is seeking a geotechnical (or related) Civil Engineer with at least 8-10 years of experience for the role of Design Services Manager - TBM Expert. The new hire will strengthen the Corporate Engineering function in Milan. Experience on site and, specifically, in mechanized excavation with TBM is required.

Main activities:

• Follow the excavation activities of TBMs currently in operation, in Italy and abroad;
• Analyze excavation parameters and geological conditions encountered, as well as issues due to the excavation itself;
• Drafting of reports and technical notes;
• Frequent travel to various construction sites to verify the operation of the TBMs.

Requirements:

• Degree in civil engineering, geotechnical field (or related paths);
• Experience of at least 8-10 years, including at least 5 in mechanized underground excavation;
• Fluent knowledge of the English language;
• Willingness to travel and international mobility;
• Open-mindedness, motivation, determination, and flexibility;
• Good knowledge of Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
