Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer in Avezzano, Italy to contribute to NAND analog/mixed-signal design in the NVE group. You will work on analog blocks, regulators, amplifiers, ADC/DAC, and power management while collaborating with global teams to optimize performance, power, area, and reliability.

Strong SPICE and Python scripting experience is preferred, with a Ph.D./M.S. in EE as a baseline.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Senior role with proven analog/mixed-signal CMOS design experience.
• Strong knowledge of device physics, variability, noise, power integrity.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and validate analog and mixed-signal circuits across the full development lifecycle.
• Translate system requirements into circuit architectures and transistor-level implementations optimized for performance, power, area, noise, and reliability.
• Perform comprehensive circuit simulation and verification (DC, AC, transient, noise, Monte Carlo, PVT corners).
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to optimize product performance, power consumption, die size, and manufacturability.

Responsibilities may include:• Using AI-assisted engineering tools for code generation, review, debug, and documentation.• Applying AI-enabled analysis techniques to large design, verification, characterization, or silicon datasets.• Finding opportunities to automate repetitive engineering tasks through AI technologies.• Evaluating and adopting emerging AI capabilities to improve efficiency, quality, and innovation within the design process.• Collaborating with multi-functional teams to integrate AI automated workflows into engineering activities.**Min Qualifications**• **M.S. or Ph.D**. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.• Senior role: Proven experience in analog and mixed-signal CMOS circuit design.• Solid understanding of device physics, variability, noise, reliability, and power integrity.• Hands-on experience with SPICE-based simulation tools and verification methodologies.• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work in global multi-functional teams.**Preferred Qualifications**• **Experience in NAND Flash** or other non-volatile memory technologies.• Familiarity with **design automation**, scripting (e.g., Python), or **AI-assisted** design approaches.• Understanding of **layout constraints** and interaction with physical design flows. The base salary range that Micron estimates it could pay in for this position full-time is:34.000,00 € - 57.000,00 € per year, with B2 CCNL Level. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
