Demont S.r.l. is seeking a Deputy Project Manager with an engineering degree to support the Project Manager in monitoring development, deadlines, costs, safety and quality.

You will interface with subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments, participate in coordination meetings, and help manage project documentation ensuring alignment with client and company expectations.

Competenze

• Engineering degree required.
• Experience in project management or coordination is a plus.
• Must be able to monitor budgets, schedules, safety and quality.

Mansioni

• Analyze project estimates to define budget, forecast costs, hours and quantity.
• Coordinate internal interfaces across Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Quality, Legal.
• Participate in coordination meetings with clients and external interfaces.
• Manage and archive project management documentation (contracts, correspondence and variations).
• Verify technical and economical alignment of demands and subcontractors.
• Interface daily with suppliers to monitor order status and delivery timelines.

What We Are Looking For?

We are looking for a resource for our team, with a Degree in Engineering, with a background in mechanical, civil, energetic, chemical or management. The candidate will support our Project Manager, especially with the monitoring of the development and progress of the project. In particular, the resource will monitor deadlines and costs, but also verify safety and quality of the work, interface with subcontractors and suppliers, working with other company departments and external businesses. We appreciate a very strong motivation to build a career in project management, especially in the industrial field. Previous work experience, even short-term, will be considered a plus.

Planned Activities

• Analyses project estimates, with the goal of defining budget, forecasting costs, working hours and quantity
• Supports the PM in coordinating internal interfaces in various company departments (Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Quality, Legal)
• Participates actively in meetings for the project’s coordination, either internal, with clients or other external interfaces
• Manages and archives standard project management documentation (contracts, correspondence and variations)
• Verifies technical and economical alignment of demands and subcontractors
• Interfaces daily with suppliers to monitor order status and forecast delivery timelines
