A leading aerospace company in Vergiate is seeking a Deputy Compliance Monitoring & Support Manager to ensure adherence to aeronautical certification processes. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and experience in EASA regulated environments, along with fluency in Italian and English. Competenze

Job Description

Thales is seeking a Deputy Compliance Monitoring & Support Manager to join their team in Vergiate, Italy. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Quality Manager and be responsible for maintaining aeronautical certification for the Vergiate site.

The job objective is to ensure the proper application of processes and standards, and to provide operational support to the Maintenance Manager. The key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring monitoring of the correct and continuous application of site applicable processes
  • Executing internal audits and supporting audits by relevant authorities
  • Maintaining the documentation system SMS
  • Ensuring quality assurance role on support activities
  • Managing non-conformity and action plans
  • Supporting the technical office and managing updates and communication of maintenance documentation

The required skills and qualifications include:

  • Engineering degree in aerospace, electronics, mechanical, or related discipline
  • Successful experience in aeronautical activities EASA Part 145 or Part 21
  • Good knowledge of quality/safety management systems for aeronautic activities
  • Languages: Italian (fluent), English (fluent), French (notions) is a plus
  • Teamwork, adaptability, and skills in electronics and mechanics are a plus
  • Computer skills: office suite
  • Soft skills: rigorous, autonomous, good communication skills, reactive, proactive, curious, able to synthesize, and flexible
