A dynamic international company is seeking a Deputy CFO & Italy Finance Manager to support the CFO in implementing financial strategy and oversee finance activities in Italy. The successful candidate will lead the finance team, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage financial operations. Ideal applicants should possess a degree in Economics, experience in international finance, and proficiency in ERP systems. This position is based in Fidenza, Italy.

Competenze

• Experience in international finance leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Italian GAAP.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Mansioni

• Direct oversight of FP&A, treasury, and consolidation functions.
• Leadership of the Italian finance team ensuring compliance.
• Management of treasury, general ledger, and banking relationships.

Our client is a dynamic company, part of an international group, currently undergoing an exciting phase of transformation that also involves finance processes, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

This is a strategic and hands-on role with responsibilities at both global and local levels. The Deputy CFO & Italy Finance Manager supports the CFO in shaping and implementing the group’s financial strategy, while leading the FP&A function and the Global Controller. At the local level, it oversees all finance and accounting activities of the Italian legal entity, ensuring full regulatory compliance and robust financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

Group Level (Deputy CFO):

• Direct oversight of FP&A, treasury, and consolidation functions.
• Strategic support to the CFO in planning, investment analysis, and liquidity optimization.
• Leadership of cross-functional projects (ERP integration, process standardization).
• Supervision of consolidated reporting and internal control systems.
  
  

Local Level (Italy Finance Manager)

• Leadership of the Italian finance team, ensuring compliance with Italian GAAP (OIC) and tax regulations.
• Oversight of financial reporting, budgeting, cost and margin analysis.
• Management of treasury, general ledger, banking relationships, and insurance.
• Coordination of audits, tax compliance, and credit risk management.
• Collaboration with Operations, HR, and Sales for financial alignment.
  
  

Your Profile

• Fluency in English.
• University degree in Economics or a related discipline, with a specialized Master's degree.
• Experience in international finance leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, italian GAAP (OIC), and international taxation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP), Excel, and reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, managerial, and communication skills.
