Company Description
Our client is a historic company based in Montebelluna, recognized internationally for producing sports articles.

Position
To strengthen the Operations team, we are looking for a Demand Planning Specialist who, reporting directly to the Operations Director, will independently manage activities related to the international supply chain, with a focus on importing materials from Far East Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the customer order portfolio in relation to stock levels, supplier orders, and budget
  • Issue and manage purchase orders to Asian suppliers
  • Verify order confirmations
  • Monitor production plans sent weekly by suppliers
  • Plan shipments in coordination with customer requests and assembly timelines
  • Coordinate with suppliers and international freight forwarders for shipments
  • Prepare customs documentation for import
  • Negotiate with freight forwarders
  • Manage customs procedures and clearance
  • Record goods in the system and manage warehouse activities
  • Resolve logistical and supply chain issues

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in international manufacturing or distribution contexts
  • Excellent accuracy and execution skills
  • Problem-solving attitude and proactive management of critical issues
  • Good knowledge of English, especially written
  • Proficiency with IT tools (ERP, Excel, email)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both with colleagues and suppliers

Work location: Montebelluna (TV)
