Holding excess inventory, or running out of stock, can be commercially damaging to a business.

By creating a forecast that aligns as closely as possible with actual demand, you’ll make sure we can meet our customers’ expectations.

As a Demand Planning Manager at Inotiv, you’ll have a unique opportunity to make your mark on our business. You will play a pivotal role in our SIOP - Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process. Your knowledge, experience and insight can shape the future of our supply chain.

This is a global role in a global organisation. We’re looking for your ideas to show us how to improve and be a part of our maturation as a company.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working remotely in either the Netherlands, France, Italy, Germany or Spain.

The salary and benefits for this role will be related to the country you live in.

About You

• You’re already a Demand Planning Manager, or you have been previously. You have experience within Life Science, the Food sector (with products with short end of shelf life), or within a production/manufacturing environment.
• You want to work somewhere that welcomes your ideas on how to do things better. Somewhere that gives you the opportunity to put your own thumbprint on your workday and the company.
• You have a degree (or equivalent) in a related field (such as maths, science).
• You’re experienced working in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, demand planning software, MS Excel and PowerBI.
• You understand the value of accurate data. You have analytical and statistical abilities including standard deviation, forecast accuracy, bias, safety stock calculations and mean average percent error (MAPE). You enjoy visualising data, and present a higher-level view demand projection, making sure that it’s easily understood by any audience.
• You’re experienced in tracking and reporting KPIs – forecast accuracy, bias, lost orders, and make adjustments which improve future planning.
• But you’re not just a numbers person, you’re also a people person.
• You’re collaborative, able to work in partnership with multiple business functions to gather data and influence them to work with you towards the common goal of a well-functioning SIOP process. You can also confidently challenge in the right way when that data isn’t accurate. You can build impactful relationships with key stakeholders.
