Job Purpose

The Demand Planning Manager for the European Region will oversee a team of Demand Planners, focusing on maximizing account sales and inventory turns by forecasting consumer demand and developing optimal product assortments and replenishment strategies. This role acts as the local contact for all planning-related inquiries within Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and improve forecasting techniques and methods, including statistical models and software tools, to enhance demand planning.
  • Maintain and optimize inventory targets, including safety stock levels approved by management, for the European market.
  • Prepare and communicate planning KPIs to management.
  • Lead projects to improve the efficiency of the planning team and regional operations, including MOQ management, supplier rationalization, and seasonal readiness.
  • Serve as the primary contact for planning questions and issues in Europe.
  • Provide leadership and development opportunities for the Demand Planning team.
  • Collaborate with regional teams and stakeholders to align demand planning strategies and objectives.
Experience Required
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in demand planning, including statistical models, software tools, and market analysis.
  • Responsibility for meeting team targets impacting regional and global performance.
  • Significant contribution to team performance and regional planning, ensuring global alignment.
  • Extensive knowledge of company policies and procedures to inform decision-making.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex planning problems.
  • Effective communication within the team and at a global level, providing guidance to less experienced colleagues.
