Job summary

Abbott is seeking a professional for systems analysis and development activities in the healthcare domain. The role involves analyzing interface specifications, maintaining Delphi code, and supporting customers and colleagues with customization and bug fixes.

Documentation to certify products under the quality system is also required. Some travel may be necessary to sites in Italy and abroad as part of project work.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of at least one object oriented language.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to occasional on-site activities in Italy and abroad.
• Attitude to work by goals and under pressure.

• Familiarity with Oracle and PL/SQL; networking and healthcare workflow protocols (ASTM/HL7) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze host interface specifications of instruments/laboratory information systems.
• Develop and maintain Delphi code under internal quality standards.
• Provide customer/colleague support for customization and bug fixing.
• Document necessary processes to certify products under the quality system.
