The successful candidate will analyse and integrate physical and biogeochemical datasets collected from autonomous observing platforms (Argo and Deep Argo floats, gliders, and moorings), hydrographic data acquired during oceanographic cruises, and historical datasets available for the study area.

The research will focus on characterizing the deep circulation, mesoscale and submesoscale dynamics, and turbulent mixing processes, as well as their interactions with biogeochemical variability.

• Analyse and integrate physical and biogeochemical datasets from autonomous observing platforms (Argo/Deep Argo floats, gliders, moorings).
• Process hydrographic data from oceanographic cruises and historical datasets for the study area.
