A leading marine technology company is seeking a Dealer Sales Representative to manage dealer relationships and drive sales across Italy and surrounding regions. You will be responsible for training, monitoring dealer performance, and working with partners to enhance Seakeeper product visibility. This position is remote with travel requirements. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of sales experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Refits account for 25% of all Seakeepers installed around the world. As our Dealer Sales Representative, you’ll bring the Seakeeper magic to boat owners throughout Northern Europe, Italy, Malta, Croatia, Montenegro, Cyprus, and Greece. By working closely with our dealer partners, you’ll increase the number of boats equipped with Seakeeper. You’ll build and maintain relationships with our existing dealer network and seek out new dealers to become future stars for our Seakeeper customers.

You’ll support our dealers by :

  • Managing existing dealer relationships and developing new ones in key locations
  • Increasing sales and Seakeeper visibility in your assigned territory
  • Driving Seakeeper sales through our dealer network with account management including education, training, and support throughout the aftermarket process
  • Holding monthly individual dealer calls
  • Preparing yearly dealer scorecards to develop a 360-degree view of dealer performance
  • Documenting, tracking, following up, and closing sales leads in NetSuite (our CRM system)
  • Educating, facilitating, and negotiating with end users to refit their vessels with our dealer partners
  • Supporting the introduction and integration of new products and features with dealer accounts
  • Sharing proven success methods and best practices within the dealer network
  • Supporting dealers with local events and product demos
  • Seeking out new opportunities for dealers to support Seakeeper in the field
  • Reviewing and collaborating with dealers on installation quotations to generate additional sales
  • Creating marketing plans and attending events to promote the Seakeeper brand
  • Supporting and maintaining a world-class customer experience through your dealer network

MUST-HAVES

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • You must reside within the territory
  • The ideal location for this role is Italy, Spain, the UK, or Germany
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with people and a _“won’t take no for an answer”_ attitude
  • Professional, responsive, resourceful, flexible, and well-organized
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management, multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Results-driven, proven closer, with unquestionable integrity
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office products
  • Valid passport and availability for domestic and international travel

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Previous experience in sales and service in the marine industry or knowledge of the marine industry in the assigned territory, including service outlets, marinas, and high-traffic marine locations

  • This is a remote position
  • Travel up to 50%, including regional office visits in Lavagna, Italy, and supporting Seakeeper’s shows and events across Europe
  • Your territory includes: Italy, Malta, Croatia, Montenegro, Cyprus, Northern Europe, Iceland, Ireland, UK, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Faroe Islands, and Isle of Man
  • You will report to the Director of Sales & Service for EMEA, based remotely in Germany or Italy

You will join our Sales department supporting the EMEA region, working with a global team focused on aftermarket and OEM accounts. Your impact will be immediate on your accounts and overall business.
