- Technical Trainer
- Under the guidance of the DND Training Manager, is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, delivering, and administering technical training programs provided to the dealership (Service and workshops), covering electrical and mechanical systems. Duties include liaising with local Departments and the European Headquarter to develop technical training programs for the dealership network, including online, virtual, face-to-face, and hands-on training. The main goal of the Technical Trainer is to equip our Dealerships with tools, processes, and procedures aligned with KIA's highest standards.
- Your Mission
- Oversee the development, construction, and maintenance of technical training programs and course contents, aligned with local needs and Kia Headquarters guidelines.
- Research and extract the latest vehicle technologies to support training and delegate development, distinguishing between essential and supplementary knowledge.
- Participate in the Training Needs Analysis to ensure the Training plan aligns with Dealership needs and company priorities.
- Develop local training brochures following predetermined layouts and standards.
- Prepare course materials to the highest standards.
- Deliver technical training on automotive diagnostic repair procedures, electrical and mechanical, to service technicians and delegates, either at our Training Center or offsite.
- Foster a supportive learning environment, encouraging questions, experience sharing, and utilizing a variety of training methods, including hands-on and instructor-led.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with delegates and the dealer network, ensuring professionalism in all training activities.
- Coordinate and ensure the suitability of the training and workshop environment, including vehicles and training aids.
- Attend Kia Headquarters courses as appropriate to stay updated.
- Prioritize and manage activities to meet schedules and deadlines.
- Contribute to the internal quality assurance of technical training programs.
- Support training and auditing of Delegates and the Dealer Network.
- Monitor progress and develop training reports for local and European management.
- Evaluate and analyze training results to understand and quantify effectiveness.
- Participate in safety and technical certification trainings (First Aid, Fireproof training, etc.).
- Your Talents
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Technical Trainer in the automotive industry, focusing on electronic systems.
- Background in Service Technician environment with detailed vehicle systems knowledge (4-5 years, including at least 3 years in training).
- Ability to learn new vehicle technologies, diagnostics, and EV systems.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in MS Office and automotive diagnostic systems.
- Willing to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a desire to improve the status quo.
- Strong goal orientation, team working, communication, public speaking, reliability, organizational skills, and negotiation abilities.
- Contractual grade: First Level CCNL or above.
