At KPMG, you will have the opportunity to help clients, the company, and colleagues address and solve complex challenges. Our Advisory services include business model transformation, process improvement, digitisation, risk analysis, and support in finance transactions.

Our Restructuring & Turnaround team assists clients in debt and industrial restructuring, providing financial advisory and support to stabilize businesses and implement sustainable change. We work on debt restructuring, distressed M&A, and lender advisory activities for multinationals, family businesses, private equity, and financial institutions.

As a team member, you will work with leading Italian and international clients, contributing to high-quality projects recognized with awards, including the Finance Community Award for Italian “Restructuring Team of the Year”.

Based in Padua, your tasks will include:

  1. Analyzing financial performance to assess enterprise health;
  2. Assisting in identifying strategic recovery guidelines;
  3. Financial modelling and business planning;
  4. Negotiating with stakeholders such as financial institutions and investors;
  5. Handling distressed M&A transactions;
  6. Conducting independent business reviews;
  7. Managing cash flow and executing turnarounds.

You will be actively involved from day one, working on diverse projects and engaging with key executives. This role is ideal if you:

  • Have 2-4 years of experience in debt restructuring, corporate crisis, or finance;
  • Possess a degree in business, finance, or engineering management;
  • Have excellent English skills, preferably with international experience;
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Office;
  • Are a problem solver with strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, motivation, and leadership abilities.
