DE System Software Designer

Responsibilities:

1. Design software systems for our fold and napkin machinery within Detailed Engineering Department
2. Program and manage software updates and improvements (PLC, panels, motion control)
3. Work on the execution of projects collaborating with other functions involved in manufacturing process and with external suppliers
4. Interact with customers to solve and assist customer requests and needs
5. Prepare reports and documentation about machinery software and work progress
6. Be involved in machines startups and tests, both in-house and on clients' site if needed
7. Apply technical solutions for safety according to regulatory standards

1. Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering or similar
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
3. PLC programming knowledge (Siemens/Rockwell preferred), LAD, Human-Machine Interface (HMI), Safety, drive and axis control
4. General knowledge about mechanical and fluidic systems is a plus
5. Proficiency in MS Office
6. Experience with C and Visual Basic
7. Fluent in English and Italian
8. Strong analytical and problem solving skills

11. Willing to travel
