Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Italy invites applications for a 6-month internship starting January 2027 with the DCM coverage team. You will assist in preparing presentations, memos, term sheets and support transactions across markets and currencies, while learning ESG concepts and engaging with legal, syndication and other colleagues.

Ideal candidates have an economics background, are pursuing a master’s degree, fluent in English and Italian, strong MS Office skills, and are keen to use AI tools to enhance

Qualifications

• Master's degree in progress or completed (Economics/Finance preferred)
• Fluent in English and Italian
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Familiarity with Bloomberg is a plus
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to craft marketing and presentation materials
• Strong communication and teamwork in a global environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive attitude
• Experience with AI tools to enhance productivity and ethical use of data

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing presentations, memos and term sheets for Debt Capital Markets deals
• Support execution of public and private placements across markets and currencies
• Learn ESG concepts and metrics related to finance
• Coordinate with legal, syndication desk and DCM team members
• Leverage relationships to maintain client-focused collaboration
