Job summary

Qualifications

• Secondary School Education.
• Four years of experience in statistical support work.
• Working knowledge of English.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Select and extract relevant data for databases and statistical material.
• Draft and edit statistical reports, including tables and graphs for analysis.
• Review data prior to processing and cross-check for inconsistencies.
• Assist with production of tabulations for publications and ad hoc reports.
• Prepare statistical material for internal and international meetings.
• Use statistical software to assist with analyses and programme edits.
• Provide guidance to staff on statistical methods and procedures.
• Recommend improvements to operating procedures and systems.
