Amazon is seeking a Data Scientist to synthesize large-scale data into knowledge for Kindle Direct Publishing. You will work with ML scientists, engineers, and product teams to drive insights and influence business strategy, focusing on improving creator and reader experiences.

You will own end-to-end aspects of analytics, develop actionable models, and contribute to strategic decision-making across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 3+ years of data querying languages and scripting experience (SQL, Python) or statistical software (R, SAS, Matlab).
• 1+ years of guiding and coaching researchers in teams.
• Experience with AI systems and applied modeling approaches.
• Master's degree in STEM or related field; PhD preferred for advanced roles.
