Amazon.com Services LLC NASC & TOM Science team seeks a Data Scientist II to design, build, and ship ML and optimization models shaping mid-mile planning decisions. You will own end-to-end delivery from problem framing with business partners, through modeling and validation, to deployment in internal hosting platforms and integration with planning tools.

You will work on forecasting, network optimization, GenAI, and adaptive planning, partnering with Engineering and stakeholders to translate

Competenze

• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 3+ years of data querying languages (SQL) or scripting languages (Python) experience.
• 3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques.

Mansioni

• Design and implement ML/optimization solutions (forecasting, MIP/LP, DL).
• Drive end-to-end delivery of scalable models from data exploration to deployment.
• Develop modeling patterns for forecasting and optimization.
• Build validation, backtesting, and monitoring pipelines.
• Define model performance metrics tied to business outcomes.
• Partner with Data Eng and Software Dev to productionize models.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
