Data Protection & AI Compliance Lead [FREELANCE], Padova

E-Frontiers is partnering with a leading global tech consultancy to find a Data Protection & AI Compliance Lead to cover a maternity leave. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a collaborative and international environment.

About the Role

You will be part of a global Data Protection & AI Compliance team, working closely with internal stakeholders and client teams to ensure the delivery of privacy-compliant software development services. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for compliance, risk assessment, and stakeholder training.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review agreements and handle compliance-related queries
  2. Coordinate rights requests and client communications
  3. Provide practical advice on data protection and AI-related matters
  4. Support internal teams with DPIAs and AI risk assessments
  5. Deliver training sessions (online and in-person)
  6. Promote data protection awareness within the company
Your Profile
  1. 4+ years of experience in data protection, ideally in a consulting or tech environment
  2. Strong knowledge of GDPR and applying legislation to business scenarios
  3. Confident communicator with excellent soft skills
  4. High level of English (spoken & written)
  5. Able to organize and prioritize independently
  6. Good understanding of technology and digital services
  7. Calm, collaborative, and adaptable under pressure
Bonus Points for:
  1. Certifications like CIPP/E or AIG
  2. Knowledge of AI regulation frameworks and information security
  3. Start Date: Ideally June 9th | 8-month contract
