Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Management Specialist for our Client located in the Greater Vicenza Metropolitan Area . The Data Management Specialist will be responsible for ensuring data quality , governance , and availability across the organization. This includes managing master data , maintaining data pipelines , supporting ETL / ELT processes , and enabling advanced analytics through collaboration with business and technical teams.

The ideal candidate will combine a solid foundation in data management principles with hands-on experience in data engineering and automation tools .

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data governance frameworks and data quality standards.
• Manage and optimize master data across systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
• Design and support ETL / ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of data architecture with business needs.
• Monitor and improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency .
• Support the design and maintenance of data lakes and data warehouses .
• Use Python or other scripting languages to automate data-related tasks and improve data pipeline efficiency.
• Work with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure / Fabric, AWS, or GCP) for data storage, analytics, and security.
• Provide insights through data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, QLik, Tableau).

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data management , including governance, quality, and MDM .
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational / non-relational databases .
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Talend, Informatica).
• Knowledge of data lake and data warehouse concepts (e.g., Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Snowflake).
• Experience with cloud services for data management and analytics (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems , or a related field.
