Your Role And Responsibilities

We are looking for motivated and tech-passionate people to:

• Administer and optimize PostgreSQL environments with a focus on replication, backup/restore, and high availability (HA)
• Perform in-depth performance tuning, including indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and query optimization
• Define and implement secure database configurations including roles, privileges, encryption, and auditing
• Design and execute migration strategies from SQL Server to PostgreSQL
• Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable database solutions
• Continuously analyze and improve database performance, reliability, and maintainability

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex solutions based on PostgreSQL, including advanced configuration for replication, backup/restore, and high availability (HA)
• Solid experience supporting technical teams in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to PostgreSQL environments, ensuring ongoing maintenance and performance optimization
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, SQL standards, and implications of architectural decisions in PostgreSQL
• Advanced SQL programming skills with hands-on experience in performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis in PostgreSQL
• Experience with database migration projects, particularly transitioning from SQL Server to PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL security best practices, including user role management, privilege control, data encryption, and auditing
• Availability to travel is an additional mandatory prerequisite

• Agile mindset: ability to process changes of priorities and requests, ownership, critical thinking
• Experience with AWS cloud and integration platforms (Airflow, Step Functions)
