ION Group, una Software Product Company nel settore FinTech, cerca un Graduate per entrare nel Graduate Development Program. Si tratta di un contratto a tempo pieno.

Il programma di tre anni forma sui dati con responsabilità reali su progetti live, guidato da professionisti senior. Si lavorerà sull'estrazione, trasformazione e reporting dei dati, includendo Power BI, reportistica automatizzata e interfacce web personalizzate.

Qualifications

• Laurea magistrale in STEM entro l'ultimo anno o in corso, con buon rendimento accademico.
• Ottima conoscenza di Python e SQL per analisi dati; conoscenze statistiche e serie temporali sono un plus.
• Buone capacità comunicative, spirito di squadra e fluente in inglese e italiano.
• Residente in Italia o disponibile a trasferirsi; permesso di lavoro UE se non residente nell'UE.

Responsibilities

• Interagire con business e responsabili di processo per comprendere fonti dati, ricostruirene la semantica e valutarne il valore.
• Eseguire analisi esplorative, reverse engineering e modellazione multidimensionale BI come fonte unica di verità.
• Automatizzare estrazione, pulizia, trasformazione, arricchimento e standardizzazione dati per feed sui Data Hubs centrali.
• Implementare reporting automatico su Power BI, generazione di PowerPoint su richiesta e interfacce web personalizzate.
• Gestire e mantenere pipeline dati operative end-to-end.

Our Graduate Development Program is a three-year journey designed for recent graduates who look beyond the obvious, challenge existing processes, and are driven to automate and reinvent the way things work. The program is structured into 4 progressive phases, each with distinct learning objectives. Tasks evolve according to your abilities and interests, ensuring the experience is as individual as you are. From day one, you join ION on a full‑time permanent contract, carry real accountability on live projects, and be paired with senior professionals who guide your development throughout the entire journey. What You'll Do Across phases, you will become the owner of full data transformation and reporting pipelines, working at the intersection of business processes and technology. Your work will include:

• Interacting with business and process owners to understand data sources, reconstruct their semantics, and assess their value
• Performing exploratory data analysis, reverse engineering, and building multidimensional BI models as a single source of truth
• Automating data extraction, cleaning, transformation, enrichment and standardization to feed central Data Hubs
• Implementing automated reporting across multiple channels — Power BI dashboards, programmatic PowerPoint generation, and custom web UIs
• Managing and maintaining operational data pipelines end-to-end

What We're Looking For

• Master’s degree in a STEM discipline — obtained within the last year or currently in progress, with a strong academic record
• Solid command of Python and SQL for data analysis; familiarity with statistical concepts and time series analysis is a plus
• Strong communicator, collaborative by nature, and fluent in both English (B2+) and Italian
• Based in Italy or willing to relocate; non‑EU candidates must hold a valid EU work permit

Nice to have: Power BI, Databricks or Apache Spark, DBMS / NoSQL, Scala, Postegres / Esatic.

Gross Salary Range

• 34.000 - 38.000 EUR
