ION Group is seeking recent graduates for its Graduate Program aimed at data scientists and analysts. This three-year initiative involves job rotations and hands-on experience in data transformation and reporting, utilizing advanced methodologies in an agile environment. Candidates should possess a master's degree in a STEM field, proficiency in Python and SQL, and be passionate about technology. Our Graduate Program (also known as Leadership Development Program) for data scientists and analysts is a three-year career acceleration initiative designed for recent graduates passionate about growth and technological evolution.
Through job rotations, coaching, training sessions, mentoring, and continuous feedback, participants will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge methodologies and technologies used in our agile product development environment.

You possess a strong quantitative and analytical mindset, are curious about business processes, and passionate about technology. You are eager to acquire deep knowledge of both areas and continuously learn new skills to apply practically. You can model complex systems, challenge intuition, validate models against real data, and balance effort with solution quality. A team player, capable of interacting across various levels within the ION group hierarchy.

What are we trying to do?
We aim to explore and unlock the value within the diverse data assets of the ION group. Our goal is to standardize and automate data harvesting, cleaning, enrichment, and reporting to enable data-driven decision-making at operational and strategic levels.
What you will need to know :
You should have a scientific mindset for building conceptual models, hypotheses, and assumptions, formalizing and testing them against real data. Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis is essential. Knowledge of statistical concepts for data and time series analysis is highly advantageous. Familiarity with at least one of the following technologies is a plus:
Additionally, you should have a master's degree in a STEM discipline, obtained within the past year or currently pursuing it. Fluency in English and Italian (minimum B1) is required. Good teamwork and collaboration skills are essential. You must be an Italian resident or planning to relocate to Italy. If from a non-EU country, a valid EU visa or work permit is necessary.
