LJB & Co in Milan seeks a Project Director to lead the pre-construction delivery of a major data centre programme. You will act as the senior client-side figure during design, planning, procurement, and strategy, guiding governance and cost control.

The role demands 10+ years in a senior PM/director capacity, strong commercial acumen, and fluency in English (Italian a bonus). Permanent role based in Milan with long-term strategic delivery.

Competenze

• Minimum 10+ years in a senior PM or Director role within client-side consultancy or cost/project management firm
• Proven experience leading large-scale real estate, technology, or mission-critical developments
• Expert understanding of project lifecycles, pre-construction to mobilisation

Mansioni

• Lead and oversee all pre-construction activity including planning, commercial strategy, procurement, and risk
• Act as the senior client-side liaison between developers, funders, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Build, mentor, and manage the consultant team across design, cost, and scheduling functions
• Report directly to the client’s executive leadership, guiding strategic decisions and project positioning
• Manage design development, tendering, and early-stage contractor engagement
• Establish delivery KPIs, project controls, and reporting procedures
