Reboot Monkey in Trieste, IT, is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for a full-time on-site role supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro) and strong cabling skills, plus a can-do approach to on-site work.

Responsibilities include hardware installations, migrations, structured cabling, racking, cross-connects, and on-site documentation.

Competenze

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• English communication in professional settings.
• Own transportation and on-site availability.
• Familiarity with DCIM and ticketing systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with major colocation providers is preferred.
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams
