INNOVA is seeking a Data Center Technical Operator in Trieste to support electrical and network infrastructure in a cybersecurity-focused environment. The role is part of a young, stimulating team delivering high-quality hardware and software solutions.

You will install and maintain power distribution, cabling, and network devices, coordinating with IT and facilities to ensure seamless operations. Strong hands-on skills and basic electrical and networking knowledge are essential, with occasional

Competenze

• High School Diploma in IT/telecommunications/electronics.
• Experience in electrical installations and structured network cabling.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours.

Mansioni

• Performing basic electrical work, including installation of power outlets, cable trays, and electrical panels, in compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Structured cabling and LAN network configuration, with a strong focus on the orderly and efficient organization of server rooms and rack cabinets.
• Preparation of network cables (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A), ensuring optimal performance and minimizing interference.
• Installation of network devices, including patch panels, switches, routers, and other equipment, ensuring the full operational capability of the infrastructure.
• Rack installation and maintenance of servers within our data center/server room environments.
• Interpretation of electrical schematics and network layouts, ensuring accurate execution of installations and effective activity planning.
• Active collaboration with the IT team to seamlessly integrate electrical and network infrastructures within the company's technology environment.
• Troubleshooting and fault resolution, performing both preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the operational continuity of systems.

Main Responsibilities

Education

Prerequisites and/or Experience

• Experience in electrical installations and structured network cabling.

Salary range

• 30 - 35K
