Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Milan is seeking a Physical Security Specialist — Data Center Security to manage security routines at assigned sites, oversee vendors, and test security systems. You will conduct facility inspections and escalate issues per SOPs while collaborating with a global team.

Strengthen knowledge of security policies and grow toward leadership roles within one of the world’s largest cloud providers, with commitments to ongoing development and internal training.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (C1)
• Familiarity with physical security operations or related field
• Ability to follow SOPs and adjust when needed
• Clear written and verbal communication for management
• Detail-oriented with reliable execution of routine checks
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Valid driver's license with own transport

Responsibilities

• Implement security routines and procedures per SOPs
• Oversee vendor deliverables and track service delivery
• Test and maintain security systems (cameras, access control, alarms)
• Handle routine security escalations and ticket management
• Review, evaluate, and triage tickets
• Conduct facility surveys to identify vulnerabilities
• Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance for security equipment
• Maintain organized areas and assets
