Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Controls Engineer for AWS Data Center Electrical/Controls operations. You will deploy and maintain BMS/EPMS across AWS data centers, coordinate with Data Center Engineering Operations, and ensure high availability and resiliency of control systems.

The role requires a background in electrical or mechanical engineering, project management experience, and knowledge of power management. Candidates should be prepared for on-site work in first-class data center environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in MS Office including Excel.
• Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand electrical diagrams, control diagrams, building operations, control circuits, and industrial HVAC.
• Develop control panel BOMs and ISA data sheets for various instruments.
• Read and interpret specifications and implement them in the work environment.
• Coordinate project work internally and with other departments to ensure on-time completion.
• Deploy, maintain, and coordinate with AWS teams on BMS/EPMS in data centers.
