Key Responsibilities of a Data Analytics Engineer
- Meet with internal teams to understand their challenges and translate them into BI solutions
- Build and maintain dashboards to give teams visibility into real-time business performance
- Structure and transform data from disconnected sources into unified, reportable formats
- Write SQL and Python code to prep and model data for analysis
- Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and automate recurring reports
- Contribute to the design and expansion of the company’s data warehouse (Amazon Redshift)
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and business entities
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and build scalable, repeatable solutions
- Document workflows, metrics definitions, and reporting logic
- Stay adaptable and curious—expect evolving tools, processes, and priorities
Data Analytics Engineer Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in a data analyst, BI developer, or analytics engineer role
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with modern BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Exposure to Python or similar scripting languages for data preparation
- Ability to work with messy or incomplete datasets across disparate systems
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially with non-technical users
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and evolving priorities
- Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies
- Bonus: Experience with Amazon Redshift or other cloud data platforms

Salary Expectations
The base salary for this role is expected to range between $80,000 and $110,000 depending on experience, with additional potential for profit sharing (historically estimated at 15–25% of annual salary, but not guaranteed). Benefits include:
