Job Title : Data Analyst (Power BI)

Daily Rate : Negotiable

About the Role

We are partnered with a large international FinTech company seeking a skilled Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI to support a strategic dashboard project. This role involves working closely with a junior Power BI analyst, mentoring for a few hours daily, and building impactful dashboards to enable data-driven decisions. The role emphasizes best practices in data visualisation and dashboard performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver new dashboards in Power BI
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and create visual reports
• Mentor and upskill a junior data analyst for 3–4 hours daily
• Ensure dashboards are performant, user-friendly, and adhere to data standards

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in fintech or financial services

Strong proficiency in Power BI with advanced hands-on knowledge

Solid understanding of data storytelling, visualisation best practices, and dashboard optimisation

Experience working with diverse datasets to generate actionable insights

Nice to Have

Italian language skills (not essential but preferred)

English proficiency for documentation and communication

Experience mentoring or training junior team members

Power BI certifications (beneficial but not mandatory)

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields

Additional Information

100% remote, no location restrictions; EU time zone preferred

Interview Process

One-stage technical interview (30–60 minutes) with a senior data analyst. Decision expected within a day after the interview.
