Job Title : Data Analyst (Power BI)

Location : Fully Remote (EU-based preferred, ideally Italy)

Contract Duration : 6 Months + Extension

Start Date : Beginning of August (ASAP onboarding preferred)

Daily Rate : Negotiable

About the Role

We are partnered with a large international FinTech company seeking a skilled Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI to support a strategic dashboard project. This role involves upskilling internal staff and working closely with a junior Power BI analyst who will shadow the successful candidate. You will play a key role in building impactful dashboards, ensuring best practices in data visualization, and enabling data-driven decision-making. Mentoring responsibilities are also part of the role, with a few hours dedicated daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver new dashboards in Power BI.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into visual reports.
• Mentor and upskill a junior data analyst during 3–4 hours of the workday.
• Ensure dashboard performance, usability, and adherence to data standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally with fintech or financial services exposure.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, with hands-on, advanced knowledge.
• Solid understanding of data storytelling, visualization best practices, and dashboard performance tuning.
• Experience working with diverse datasets and transforming them into actionable insights.

Nice to Have

• Italian language skills – not essential but preferred for stakeholder communication.
• English proficiency for documentation and communication.
• Experience mentoring or training junior team members.
• Power BI certifications – beneficial but not mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.

Work is 100% remote with no location restrictions; EU time zone preferred.

Interview Process

One-stage 30–60 minute technical interview with a senior data analyst. Decision expected within a day after the interview.
