What You'll Do

The candidate will have the primary responsibility of optimizing and enhancing the customer's data ecosystem by developing advanced analysis models / algorithms and advanced data-driven projects to innovate business processes and enable new business opportunities. In particular, the main areas include the following responsibilities :

1. Requirements gathering, organization, and normalization of complex data sources (from the corporate data lake and other sources), definition of analytical processes up to the construction of modeling;
2. Creation and management of optimization models based on forecasting algorithms, recommendations, and classification tools;
3. Development of measurement models based on Data-Driven Attribution Modeling methods (MTA, MMM,…) and econometric models more generally;
4. Definition of data mining procedures and analysis from multiple data sources for the purposes of data insight and discovery;
5. Implementation of methods and processes for monitoring and improving the developed Machine Learning models;
6. Construction of Data Visualization tools through platforms like Looker Studio, Power BI, and Tableau;
7. Translation of business requirements into data-driven analysis and design;
8. Communication of final results to the business and active support in the decision-making process;
9. Act as a focal point for the different business divisions (Marketing, Sales, Operations, IT, Finance, etc.) for advanced analysis and modeling activities;
10. Sharing of know-how and the data-driven approach within the company.

What We're Looking For

1. A passion for data and its power to transform businesses
2. Previous experience in data mining, data analysis, and ML, projects based on Big Data and heterogeneous datasets
3. Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages
4. Use of tools like Hadoop and SQL to develop analyses
5. Experience with big data platforms, such as Spark, Databricks, or equivalents, and with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
6. Use of Machine Learning techniques, including regression models (logit model), time series, clustering models (k-means, etc.), classification (decision tree, random forest), multidimensional analysis (PCA), recommendations (association rule, MBA), and neural networks
7. Development of algorithms based on unsupervised models and Deep Learning frameworks
8. Solid statistical knowledge (inference, multivariate statistics, data mining, etc.)
9. Excellent communication skills – you can explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
10. A curious mind and a drive to continuously learn and innovate
