Job Description: Cybersecurity Engineer

The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for designing, executing, maintaining, and diagnosing security solutions for clients, specifically within Schneider Electric's automation systems. Key responsibilities include:

1. Supporting customer cybersecurity queries and cases through maintenance contracts.
2. Evaluating new and existing technologies for Schneider Electric security solutions.
3. Responding promptly to cybersecurity issues at customer sites, collaborating with Customer Support.
4. Implementing Schneider Electric Security solutions with product managers and project sponsors, including site visits.
5. Configuring host and network security solutions, and monitoring network performance.
6. Overseeing network modifications, installation, and security testing.
7. Developing end-user training and technical documentation.
8. Collaborating with automation engineers delivering Schneider Electric solutions.

Required skills and capabilities:

• Degree in a computer-related field and certifications such as CCNA Security, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISA99, or IC32-34.
• Experience with network topology and configuring network equipment (preferably Cisco, Hirschmann, Schneider).
• Knowledge of installing and managing network firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper).
• Understanding of high availability network technologies and TCP/IP protocols.
• Experience in Industrial Control System OT environments.
• Willingness to travel and support customers on-call.
• Customer focus, proficiency in English (technical) and Italian.

Preferred additional skills include developing security policies, experience with Schneider Electric products, advanced system administration, host-based security technologies, and system backup technologies.
