Job summary

STERIS Italy S.r.l. in Pomezia, near Rome, is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer II to strengthen our R&D security controls. You will analyze CVEs, track SBOMs, and work with product teams on secure designs and incident response.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in cybersecurity, knowledge of Python/C/C++, and experience with Windows/Linux systems. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required; Italian work authorization preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in cybersecurity including risk assessments and testing.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Analyze CVEs and assess applicability to STERIS products.
• Develop and track SBOMs and remediation plans.
• Lead security testing including planning and case development.
• Participate in FDA 510(k) security documentation.
• Collaborate with product teams on secure design and incident response.
