Job Title: Cyber Security System Engineer

As a leading company within the Fastweb group in the Cyber Security domain, we are seeking a Cyber Security System Engineer to further develop our Delivery team. The ideal candidate has experience in implementing security solutions and will be responsible for installing, configuring, and integrating key technologies available in the market, with 7Layers as a partner serving clients in central and southern Italy.

Activities:

• Support the Cyber Security Architect during the design phase;
• Critically analyze project documentation;
• Review detailed vendor documentation (manuals, technical guides, white papers, etc.);
• Install, configure, and integrate major market products (NGFW, DLP, WAF, IPS/IDS, proxy, networking devices, anti-spam, anti-malware, SIEM, etc.) at client sites;
• Coordinate with the technical project manager to ensure progress;
• Maintain good networking knowledge: logical/physical addressing, routing and switching, TCP/IP, UDP, FTP, DNS, DHCP protocols;
• Proficient in Router, Firewall, NGFW, WAF, IPS/IDS technologies;
• Understand Windows, Linux, ESXi operating systems;
• Minimum experience in system administration;
• Experience in documentation writing;
• Knowledge of English language (Level B1/B2).
