Job summary

OTB Spa is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to join the ICT Infrastructure & Operations team in Milan. The role focuses on safeguarding digital assets and ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.

You will monitor the SOC, investigate incidents, and collaborate across teams to implement security controls, vulnerability management, and awareness programs. Flexible hours and smart working options are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in cybersecurity.
• Good knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel).
• Hands-on with firewalls, WAF, VPN, IDS/IPS, EDR/EPP, DLP, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience with Windows, UNIX, macOS, Linux and mobile OS support.
• Security certifications such as CySA+, GSEC or CEH are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary SOC contact; monitor KPIs and drive improvements.
• Monitor traffic, logs, and alerts to identify threats.
• Collaborate to investigate incidents and plan mitigations.
• Design and evolve security tools: SIEM, EDR/XDR, scanners, IDS/IPS.
• Manage vulnerability scanning and patching; assist resolution.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Contribute to security policies, standards, and awareness programs.
