Job Description

The Cyber Security Engineer, Contract Engineering will manage cybersecurity compliance efforts across LCS to ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards, such as DwS (Deliver-with-Security), IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIS2, and other evolving security standards and directives.

You will report to the Capabilities & Innovation Contract Engineering Manager and be guided by the Contract Engineering GRC and Security Lead, who is responsible for implementing and leading the cybersecurity program across Capabilities & Innovation and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.

This position offers a hybrid schedule in Katowice or Gdansk, Poland, or remote in Romania.

Your Responsibilities :
  1. Drive the rollout, training, and execution of security programs in collaboration with the Contract Engineering GRC and Security Lead and the Office of Product Safety and Security (OPSS).
  2. Maintain the development of engineering standards, best practices, and specific implementation guidance for security program requirements.
  3. Conduct security vulnerability and risk assessments on business offerings, development, and delivery processes.
  4. Respond to and mitigate identified security risks impacting the business.
The Essentials - You Will Have :
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar Engineering Technology degree.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
  • Travel requirements, as defined by the business/department.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading Cyber Security compliance within a global and matrixed business environment, balancing compliance with business objectives.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have :
  • Knowledge of IEC 62443, ISO 27000, NIS2, and other security standards and directives.
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation business systems and service offerings.
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation Solution Lifecycle (RASL) processes for system architecture development and delivery.
  • Experience implementing security requirements from the DwS program.
  • Experience evaluating software tools for test automation, system configuration, user management, virtual machine management, and patch management.
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems and communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP.
