MSC Cruises, the 3rd largest cruise operator globally, is seeking a Cyber Security Cloud Architect for our Cyber Security team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in application and network cloud security, as well as Identity and Access Management (IAM) for both custom and off-the-shelf applications. This role involves designing secure cloud-based architectures and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to build and deploy infrastructures and applications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

•Architect and deploy security solutions for applications and infrastructure within cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc).

•Integrate security practices into software development processes in collaboration with cloud development teams.

•Guide cloud development teams on adhering to security best practices.

•Independently engage with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to security by design principles.

•Offer strategies and recommendations to mitigate security vulnerabilities.

•Assist cloud infrastructure teams in prioritizing and addressing misconfigurations, vulnerabilities and requests for security enhancements.

•Uphold the application security framework, aligning with security strategies, policies, and the evolving threat landscape.

•Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

•At least 3 years of experience in cloud security.

•Proficiency in Azure cloud platform, including hands-on experience with Azure security services.

•Proficiency in Network Cloud Security: WAF, NSG, Cloud Firewall (NVA), DNS…

•Experience designing and implementing cloud security architectures, including IAM across multiple IdP environments.

•Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

•Fluent in Italian and English.

•Strong communication, creativity, decisiveness, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

•Familiarity with (Azure) DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, CD/CI pipelines, microservices, and containers are advantageous.

•Certifications like CCSK, CCSP or similar Cloud security credentials are beneficial.
