Customs Brokerage Services (IMP/EX) Development Lead

Job Description:

Join one of the largest customs brokerage companies in the Baltic States and the UK. We are looking for a Customs Brokerage Services Development Lead – a strategic and hands-on professional to expand and lead our international customs operations.

About the Role

As Customs Brokerage Services Development Lead, you will take charge of expanding our import and export services in countries where we currently provide only transit declarations. This is a strategic role involving service creation, international cooperation, and operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Launch and scale import/export customs services in new markets
• Lead the setup of customs brokerage companies in target countries
• Design and implement new customs service models
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customs authorities
• Manage a remote, international customs operations team (Italy, France, Germany, and more)
• Ensure compliance, accuracy, and performance of customs declarations (KPI management)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in establishing customs brokerage operations
• Strong background in import/export declaration preparation
• Experience in service development and international expansion
• Fluent in English
• Russian and/or Polish language skills are a strong advantage
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of cross-border projects
