Overview
As a Customer Success & Application Engineer, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and adoption of Smart Robots solutions at customer sites, directly or through our network of partners and integrators.
You will coordinate technical delivery activities, provide training and support, and gather market feedback to guide product evolution.
This role combines technical implementation, project management, and customer success, with a strong focus on collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Smart Robots system deployments from order to go-live, ensuring quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
- Plan and monitor project activities, controlling schedules, costs, and resources.
- Gather and define technical and functional requirements with customers and partners.
- Configure Smart Robots systems both in-house and at customer sites.
- Lead customization and integration activities in collaboration with the R&D team.
- Collect structured feedback from the field and share it with the engineering and product management teams.
- Support post-delivery phases to ensure system performance and partner competence growth.
- Manage technical relationships with partners, integrators, and distributors, providing continuous training and support.
Required background and technical skills
Education :
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Automation, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering (or a related field).
Professional Experience :
- 3–6 years of experience as an Application Engineer, Customer Success Engineer, or Technical Project Engineer in automation or industrial technologies.
Technical & Professional Skills :
- Experience with project management tools and methods.
- Familiarity with machine vision, robotics, or digital manufacturing systems.
- Strong analytical, structured, and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on, flexible, and autonomous attitude.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Availability for business travel in Italy and abroad.
