For SMT Spa – based in Correggio (RE) – we are seeking a:

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for a team member to join the Customer Service team, serving as the interface between the company and its clients, with the mission to ensure customer satisfaction.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role, not only managing any critical issues but also proactively anticipating and preventing potential problems, focusing on:

  • Understanding client needs through active listening and communicating the appropriate level of priority and urgency to the organization;
  • Making clients comfortable by providing clear, timely, and comprehensive information, with regular updates;
  • Collaborating with various departments to gather information, resolve objections, and negotiate solutions that balance company interests with client needs;
  • Managing onboarding activities for new clients, including opening profiles, communicating general supply conditions, and contractual management;
  • Ensuring precise communication along the supply chain, in coordination with the ESG team;
  • Preparing and sending price lists, managing prices for samples and production;
  • Collecting normalization comments, translating and sharing them with the industrialization office, and providing weekly updates on progress and technical/quality issues;
  • Gathering client technical specifications and distributing them to relevant departments (purchasing, technical, industrialization, production);
  • Order management: data entry into the management system, price verification, and delivery window negotiations;
  • Sending order confirmations;
  • Providing weekly updates (via email, calls, or video calls) on short-term deliveries and reporting any long-term deviations;
  • Communicating excess raw materials and finished products;
  • Collaborating with the administration office to manage issues related to delayed payments, issuing credit notes, or return requests.
Required Skills

To ensure excellent service aimed at complete customer satisfaction, the following skills are required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong analytical abilities;
  • Stress management and problem-solving aptitude;

Fluent knowledge of two foreign languages: English and French.

Data processing will be conducted in compliance with EU Regulation GDPR 679/2016.
