A leading snack company in Milan is looking for a customer service and sales assistant. You will handle order processing, invoicing, and logistics while supporting the sales team with accurate product information. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, is fluent in Italian, and has good English skills. Knowledge of SAP is highly recommended, and strong organizational talents are essential for this dynamic role.
You are responsible for the customer service and the sales assistance in the team. A new key role in the commercial office where you can use your organizational talent, customer centricity.
On the customer service side your tasks include order processing, invoicing, stock control, logistics, credit control, consumer services and day to day office operation.
Booking, processing of incoming orders, issue of invoices & order confirmations
Arranging delivery & transport for different product groups - both inbound and outbound
Placing production orders and managing stock levels
Setting up new customers in SAP
Providing the appropriate product & pricing information to the sales team
Manage the outbound shipping process - from picking to final dispatch and delivery.
Updating of forecast planning, in collaboration with sales and alignment with HQ Belgium
Maintenance of customer master data / hierarchies, prices and conditions in SAP
Preparation of (promo or product) quotations in coordination with the Key Account Management
Independent maintenance, accounting and documentation of condition agreements
Provision of relevant turnover / sales reports and special analyses
Processing of complaints / billing issues
Tracking and communicating order status to Sales and / or Account Team
You hold a Bachelor degree or have relevant experience.
You have work experience in a customer service and / or supply chain role.
You like a dynamic job, multitask handling, good organization & coordination skills and you are a strong communicator.
You have excellent computer skills (MS Office) and ultimately good product knowledge and awareness in order to be able to provide correct customer information.
Knowledge of SAP is highly recommended.
Fluent in Italian. Since we are an international company you have a good level of English skills.
