International SOS is currently recruiting a Customer Service Executive (known internally as an International Operations Specialist) to join its team of Medical, Security and Logistics experts based in Milan. This role will be supporting our clients' requests through delivering high quality case management, bringing swift resolutions to the situations presented.

Key responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a caring attitude when answering queries with the objective of exceeding expectations
  • Coordinate cases effectively by booking appointments, authorizing treatments or handling policy claims using professionalism and care
  • Assess situations, co-ordinate medical care and communicate logistics across the world
  • Collaborate with a team of doctors, nurses, security and operations experts in a fast-paced environment

About you

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English, Italian and French essential
  • Critical thinking and organisational skills to handle a variety of situations
  • Naturally sympathetic with determination to help people
  • Ability to take ownership of protecting data and process integrity
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office
  • Experience as a Customer Service Executive in a contact centre or similar environment would be beneficial
  • Educated to A’ Level or Degree level with an interest in Healthcare, World Politics or International Security is preferred
  • Starting Salary of EUR 28,000 per annum,eligible for salary increases based on performance
  • Structured career development track, with opportunities for progression
