We are currently seeking a Customer Engineer - AC Power to join our team in Naples, Italy!

What will be your role in your team?

As a Customer Engineer, you will be crucial in startups, maintenance, and emergency repairs for Vertiv UPS, batteries, power distribution, and site monitoring equipment. You will need to establish, promote, and maintain excellent relationships with customers, salespeople, distributors, and others in the area. Maintaining continuous communication with Call Control and your supervisor is essential.

What specific responsibilities will you have?

  • Respond professionally to all service calls assigned during your shift.
  • Perform all tasks following good practices and current codes of practice/legislation relevant to your work.
  • Ensure spare parts are properly managed using established procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a minimum 90% completion rate for planned maintenance.
  • Help schedule, plan, and complete work with call control, following workflow procedures.
  • Keep call control informed about your schedule and the status of ongoing jobs.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and report errors using the site change form.
  • Work collaboratively within the service team.
  • Follow up and follow through on all assigned tasks.
  • Submit daily paperwork accurately and promptly, with thorough debriefing in Wireless Field Service.
  • Be available to work during weekends and nights.

What are the keys to your success?

  • HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent;
  • Experience working in a technical service or testing environment with AC Power equipment - essential;
  • Previous field service experience - essential;
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills;
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively, working under pressure;
  • Valid driving license.
