We are currently seeking a Customer Engineer - AC Power to join our dynamic team in Naples, Italy!

What will be your role in your team?

As a Customer Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in startups, maintenance, and emergency repairs for Vertiv UPS, batteries, power distribution, and site monitoring equipment. You will be responsible for establishing, promoting, and maintaining excellent rapport with customers, salespeople, distributors, and others within the area. You will also maintain continuous communication with Call Control and the department Manager/Supervisor.

What specific responsibilities will you have within your team?
  1. Respond professionally to all assigned service calls while on duty.
  2. Perform all work according to good practices and current codes of practice/legislation relevant to the task.
  3. Ensure spare parts are properly accounted for using established procedures.
  4. Assist in maintaining a planned maintenance completion rate of at least 90%.
  5. Assist call control in scheduling, planning, and completing work using established workflows.
  6. Keep call control informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs.
  7. Maintain the accuracy of the customer listing by reporting errors with site change forms.
  8. Work collaboratively within the service team.
  9. Follow up and follow through on all assigned tasks.
  10. Submit daily paperwork accurately and promptly, with thorough debriefing in Wireless Field Service.
  11. Be available to work during weekends and nights.
What are the keys to your success?
  • HNC / HND in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a technical service or test environment of AC Power equipment - essential.
  • Previous field service experience - essential.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively under pressure.
  • Valid driving license.
