Job Title: Air Conditioning Service Technician

SUMMARY

Responsible for start-up, maintenance, and emergency repairs of Vertiv Air Conditioning products, as well as other contracted systems. Establish, promote, and maintain excellent rapport with customers, sales personnel, distributors, and others within the area. Maintain continuous communication with Call Control and the department manager/supervisor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Respond professionally to all assigned service calls.
2. Perform all work safely, following company safety policies.
3. Use good working practices and adhere to relevant codes and legislation.
4. Ensure proper accounting of spare parts according to established procedures.
5. Assist in maintaining a minimum 90% planned maintenance completion rate.
6. Coordinate with call control to schedule and complete work using established workflows.
7. Keep call control informed of your schedule and job status.
8. Maintain accurate customer listings and report errors via site change forms.
9. Support company vision and management decisions.
10. Follow all ISO 9001:2000 processes.
11. Keep company vehicle clean and maintained.
12. Take care of all tooling and company property issued.
13. Work collaboratively as part of the service team.
14. Follow up on all assigned tasks.
15. Submit daily and, if applicable, wireless field service paperwork accurately and promptly; debrief at customer sites when possible.
16. Be available to work during weekends and nights as required.
17. Report sales or service leads appropriately.
18. Provide positive influence and technical assistance on-site for challenging problems.
19. Assist department supervisors, sales staff, contracts engineers, and managers with operational duties.
20. Attend customer meetings as needed.
21. Ensure compliance with export/import and supply chain security regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience in a technical service or testing environment of air conditioning equipment.
• Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Previous field service experience.
• Self-motivated with good planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Valid and clean driving license.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Frequent after-hours and weekend work, often scheduled with short notice.
• Daily travel to customer sites; occasional travel or overnight stays.
• Occasional heavy lifting.
• Participation in a 24/7 on-call rota.
• Potential international travel.
• Company uniform to be worn at all times while working.
