We are currently seeking a Customer Engineer - AC Power to join our dynamic team in Milan, Italy.

What will be your role in your team?

As a Customer Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in startups, maintenance, and emergency repairs for Vertiv UPS, batteries, power distribution, and site monitoring equipment. You will be responsible for establishing, promoting, and maintaining excellent rapport with customers, sales personnel, distributors, and others within your area. Maintaining continuous communication with Call Control and your department Manager/Supervisor is essential.

What specific responsibilities will you have within your team?

• Respond professionally to all assigned service calls during your duty hours.
• Perform all work following good practices and current codes of practice and legislation relevant to your tasks.
• Ensure spare parts are properly managed using established procedures.
• Assist in maintaining a planned maintenance completion rate of at least 90%.
• Help schedule, plan, and complete work with call control, following established workflows.
• Keep call control informed about your schedule and the status of all ongoing jobs.
• Maintain the accuracy of customer records by reporting errors via the site change form.
• Collaborate effectively within the service team.
• Follow up and ensure completion of all assigned tasks.
• Submit daily paperwork accurately and promptly, including thorough debriefing in Wireless Field Service.
• Be available to work during weekends and nights as required.

What are the keys to your success?

• HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working in a technical service or testing environment of AC Power equipment – essential.
• Previous field service experience – essential.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively, working under pressure.
• Valid and clean driving license.
