A global medical solutions firm is seeking a Customer & Commercial Excellence Senior Specialist to lead the digital transformation of Remote Sales in EMEA. This role focuses on enhancing sales processes, implementing new tools, and providing analytics to support decision making. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years in a similar role and strong leadership and analytical skills. The position allows flexibility for remote work from any hub in Western Europe.

Customer & Commercial Excellence Senior Specialist – Remote Sales EMEA

Purpose Statement

The purpose of the Customer & Commercial Excellence Senior Specialist – Remote Sales EMEA role is to be a “change management agent” by supporting the transformation of the Remote Sales program in EMEA towards a digitally differentiated sales force.

As we are implementing tools, processes and solutions to enhance our customer experience digitally and enhance our remote selling capabilities, there is a high need to coordinate the implementation of this effort. This role will also prepare the change management to help the whole Remote Sales team adopting new behaviors. This position is responsible for creating programs to develop and implement systems, procedures and KPIs necessary to achieve this vision. Additional focus will be on working to develop common systems to leverage areas of synergy and utilize best practices.

This role will report directly to the Remote Sales EMEA Director and collaborate closely with the Remote Sales management team to prepare and coordinate the execution of key transformation projects. She / he will work in a highly matricial organization.

Key Objective of the role :

Process enhancement & Tools
  • Act as business leader in projects, implementing new processes and tools within the organization. Creating associated programs to develop them. Drive adoption and training programs
  • Continuously improving & optimizing our processes and develop new capabilities
  • Partnering with the CoE to optimize processes and ensure successful integration of EMEA / Global initiatives
  • Take the lead on developing our RS digital roadmap
  • Capture VOC from both external and internal parties; work together with cluster RS managers on execution
Sales Analytics
  • Identifying reporting needs, facilitating design of dashboards and supporting rollout and adoption in Remote Sales team. Defining data and the process to capture that data to make business decisions
  • Working with analyst and FP&A to support key commercial processes like territory and target setting, StratPlan and ad hoc analysis to dive into identified areas
  • Provide insights and data to the RS EMEA team to help decision making and business cases for change
What we are looking for :
  • At least 5 years in a similar role
  • Leadership without authority
  • Working in a highly matricial organization
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to lead projects
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Direct CRM experience, preferably in Sales cloud, and in other relevant tools for Remote Sales organizations
  • Excellent understanding of the Commercial function preferably in the Medical Device industry. Previous exposure to a Remote Sales environment would be a plus
  • Good understanding of business Information and Reporting Systems
  • Fluent in English

Location: This role is to be located in one of our hubs in Western Europe (Voisin le Bretonneux, Milan, Madrid, Hemel-Hampstead, Dusseldorf) with flexibility to work from home a couple of days per week.
