Job Description

Position: Customer Care Officer (Italian Market)

Location: Milan

Objective: To coordinate language courses abroad, from initial offer to post-stay follow-up.

Main Responsibilities
  • Processing enrollments via our CRM system
  • Assisting customers before, during, and after their stay
  • Invoicing and ensuring receipt of payments
  • Managing invoices and payments with partner schools
  • Handling special requests and complaints
  • Providing detailed, personalized advice to customers
  • Staying informed about local and international news relevant to tourism
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of ESL's products and services
  • Flexibly supporting other markets and departments as needed
  • Collaborating with team members and managers, including training support
  • Participating in administrative tasks and special projects
  • Effective communication with clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Gathering testimonials and managing customer feedback
  • Supporting the German market with similar responsibilities
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer care or administrative roles
  • Experience studying abroad is a plus
  • Degree in tourism or related field
  • Autonomous, organized, responsible work ethic
  • Fluent Italian (C2/C1), proficient English (C1); knowledge of French, German, or Spanish advantageous
  • Good geographic knowledge
